I didn't know there is some evidence of content. I thought the kid did some screenshots and that was it.
I don't recall a leak of actual information, but I did recall some talk about what she used her yahoo account for. I will do some looking. I know for sure that this issue has come out before with cases like the Detroit Mayor using his city phone to have an affair and some saying they use personal mail and phone to prevent the man from tracking what they are doing.

I have first hand knowledge of military and state information being transmitted over non secure methods. When I worked at Flatrock, we met with the Department of Homeland Security who told use they hold video conferences over non secured lines that anyone with an end point and the phone number can access and view without anyone knowing.

At the time, Polycom couldn't traverse firewalls with both video and audio and they had no encryption methods for either stream.

I know, it's the post, but it was a quick look :D

CC'ed to her husbands personal email account and routinely used Yahoo as a way to avoid disclosure. Awesome.

Washington Post on Sept. 9th said:
Palin had claimed executive privilege for documents copied to her husband, who is not a state employee, in responding to an open records request in June made by Andrée McLeod, an activist in Anchorage. The administrative appeal filed yesterday by McLeod's attorney, Donald C. Mitchell, argued that by copying Todd Palin on sensitive state correspondence, the governor and her aides shattered the privilege rightly afforded elected officials.

"She has allowed Todd Palin -- who has not been elected by the people of Alaska, who is not a state employee -- to entangle himself apparently as he sees fit in the operations of the executive branch of the state government," Mitchell said.

"From the case law, if government voluntarily opens up that internal decision-making to what I would call civilians, then that is waiver of that protection of the government policy decision-making process. That is what happened here, and it happened because Sarah Palin doesn't understand it," he said.

Todd Palin was frequently copied on e-mails relating to Alaska State Troopers and the union representing public safety employees, according to McLeod, who received four boxes of redacted e-mails in response to her request. At the time, both Sarah and Todd Palin were complaining to the state public safety commissioner about a disciplinary matter involving Sarah Palin's ex-brother-in-law, a state trooper.

Palin also routinely does government business from a Yahoo address, gov.sarah@yahoo.com, rather than her secure official state e-mail address, according to documents already made public.

Also, from the Juneau Empire:
Alaskans question Palin's e-mail secrecy

Palin routinely uses a private Yahoo e-mail account to conduct state business. Others in the governor's office sometimes use personal e-mail accounts, too.

The practice raises questions about backdoor secrecy in an administration that vowed during the 2006 campaign to be "open and transparent."

Even before the McCain campaign plucked Palin from Alaska, a controversy was brewing over e-mails in the governor's office. Was the administration trying to get around the public records law through broad exemptions or private e-mail accounts?

Activists, still fighting to obtain hundreds of e-mails that were withheld from public records requests earlier this year, say that's what it looks like.

I believe you now. If nothing at all, then sending it to her "unofficial chief of staff" opens all kinds of doors to Funland.
