Dude, that is like in my back yard. I'm going. Fun event. Half race half party.

I've done it the past few years. It is a very laidback grassroots kind of race. They project Disney type movies for kids, a large bonfire to stay warm while you wait for a team mates and there is usually a large metal container containing bubbly yellow liquids. Half the people there are racing seriously and the other half are there ride and have fun. The trails are tight flowy singletrack. Two years ago I did a 2 person team and last year I went solo.

I'll be doing it solo, it is going to hurt. I haven't been training or riding hard in months.

Not going to Tidewater. I will be out of town for work. :dead:

I'll be there, either just drinking, or drinking and riding. Haven't decided yet.

As said before, it's a great local event. There are a lot of bike-minded folks there just hanging out and having a good time.
