I've gotten many of them, but mine is PayPaI... capital "I". Obviously the sender needs a cockpunch.

And every so often I hear someone say "Does anyone actually fall for this?", and my answer is "It only takes a few to make it all worth while".

Look at the code behind the link. My guess is it takes you somewhere other that what the link says.

Never click on links in emails.

Type "www.paypal.com" into your browser bar and log into your account. If there is a legit problem, you'll see it.

Just send me your CC number, trust me it's a lot faster. Please include date of birth and the security code on the back.

actually, if you were to click their link, AND you are running anti virus software that is up to date, it should pick up the site as a known phishing site and warn you, even block your access.

Yea, I got one of those, and it was pretty obvious because the links address didn't have the name paypal in it at all. Just an ip address

I got that one a couple of times last week. This week I'm getting one about needing to update/confirm my account info.

i have got a bunch of those too, pretty annoying, but i think it is a pretty good scam really.

I could see out of all the paypal/ebay users out there a lot of people falling for it.
