Not that PC, political correctness. The Lehigh Valley (Allentown Pa area) got a new minor league baseball franchise and the first contest was to name the team, they cam up with Iron Pigs, a tribute to the cities iron and steel industry. Next came the naming of the mascot, a pig in a baseball uniform and a 5 year old girl won season tickets and prizes for naming the pig "Pork Chop". Today, they annouced the team will change the name after they recieved complaints the name with pork in it offended some folks(read Muslims). The new name? Ferrous. I'm going to complain on behalf of scientifically challenged people. Will the 5 year old get to keep her prizes, believe it or not, they're not sure.

Turns out, it was speculation on the fact that it was Muslims reacting. They did but it turns out, this was a Latino issue ?!?! Apparently, "porkchop" used to be slang for Puerto Ricans. I thought we came up with much better slang for them years ago!
