Watchin' you. Writing it all down.
So apparently the movie Happy Feet has some complaining about the environmental message and painting man in a bad light. One of the fox commentators said it was the animated version of al gore's movie.

I wonder if they didn't like Bambi?

I was unfortunate enough to have gone to see that with my kid this weekend.

Not only did it have a pro environment message, it also had an anti religion message too. My kid just liked the songs and the dancing though. Do you think a 4 year old is able to grasp all these nuances? I doubt it.

If you took Riverdance and then sprinkled in a bit of environmentalism and added a dash of religious intolerance you would know what this movie is all about. Now there is no reason for you to waste money going to see it. You can thank me later.

I was wondering if anyone else caught that.

My brother in law mentioned that the main character seemed to represent gays as well (Dancing, father disapproving but he said that he wouldn't change... etc).

I saw it in El Paso, TX - where 90% of the people are Mexican. Since I'm 6'1" and my wife is 5'11" - we were in tears when mumbles met the other (short) penguins and they had a Mexican accent...
