That's essentially the culture where I work. We normally have Thirsty Thursday every other week, and there's always beer in the refrigerators. If I wind up at work later than I expect and still have something to finish I may snag a brew.

Wal, good luck. The aspect of the work I miss is having very skilled people from all disciplines cheek-to-jowl. Bit butchery is interesting and challenging, but lacks technical diversity.
