:stupid: post whore :D

looks good to me, how about a weight qoute on that 7?

Yeah, I left out the what might be the most important part. Is the suspension adjustable travel wise?

Gonna be REAL hard to decide one a new bike with all these sweet designs in the 7" range...Iron horse, astrix, Vpfree, nicolai....dag, yo.

price range?
Thanks for all of the kind words guys, I appreciate it.

The new bikes have the standard adjustments, like preload and all damping settings. No travel adjustment settings really. We went for what we felt was the best travel range for each application and locked it in. Then we had the dampers custom tuned for each frame design so that we could get the maximum amount of traction and adjustability out of the dampers. This lets the dw-link do all of the work on the pedaling side and frees the damper up to soak up all of the bumps, big and small. I didn't want to compromise performance by allowing adjustable travel, and the bikes pedal so damn well, that the travel lengths aren't a factor really.

I dont have the pricing info, but I am pretty sure that the bikes will be in line with other high-end frames, with the kickass bang for the buck spec that IronHorse historically has been known for.

what differences between world cup & factory frame

Actually, the picture of the factory frame that you have there and on Pinkbike is not really the factory frame. That is the alpha prototype dwdh bike. The IronHorse MadCatz team has been on the Beta and Beta+ prototypes since before the US Open. The production frame is a Beta ++ model, so it has been refined 3 times since the picture of the black bike.

This frame has gone through a huge development cycle.

The factory frame looks identical to the World Cup frame on the outside, but it is built from our own proprietary very high strength and lightweight aluminum alloy. The Factory frame is both stronger and lighter than the WC frame. The factory frame is hand welded in the USA, while the WC frame is welded in Taiwan. The factory frame is available in Blue, Yellow, or Black.

dave, sorry if this was already covered, but i thought you were running a breakout+ this year. what's w/ the boxxer?
Hey Tim,

I ran the Breakout+ for the first half of the season, but for Whistler I had a Works 888 on, then I threw the Boxxer on after that.

All in the name of testing and building better bikes man! After all, I have to refine these bikes for 2006!
