More spam from that annoying enduro wanker toodles. Just finished the Trans NZ multi-day race. Those kiwis have some ridiculous good scenery on their equally awesome trails.

Fuck directly off mate >:(

Seriously tho, that looks like an insanely fun time. How'd ya do?
Ah mate that sucks. How long off the bike?

I did better than I expected actually. Firmly mid-pack in the 19-39 category and beat my younger riding mates, which I'm happy with given I was the oldest guy in the category and I had a month off the bike in November due to emergency appendectomy.

Next year I'm in the Masters field so keen to go back and aim for a top 10.

this makes me sad to realize that i’d have been in the “masters” category for 6 years...where is the “old-ass hacks” category when you need it???

Hellz yeah my bogan compadre! Thats a fine result in the whipper snapper league, especially given your month off the bike. I'm getting this (fucking) cast off Monday, so I am stoked about being able to self-pleasure with my right hand again...may even get some wine and candles out for the big day.

How far up your arm does that shitty thing go? Over the elbow? Hope it doesn't.

Thankfully its just about halfway down my forearm. Truth be told, I think if I hadda just iced the shit out of it, worn a really good wrist brace for a few weeks, I could've been convinced it was just a bad sprain. Not that it mattered much anyway, as the weather in these here parts has been fantastically shitty, so we've been building trail and doing maintenance - and hell, my dinged wing has left all the hard trail corridor clearing work to @SuboptimusPrime , so my lower back was spared moar morning stiffness :thumb:

Nice! I've got a home trail as well but since I cut it in, it's been unrideable most of the time due to rain and bullshit weather. I cut the damn thing in 1.5 years ago. FML

This happened today while doing a bit of a shakedown before dropping in at the Dos Huecos Enduro track in Tandil:

Hit a rock hidden by bushes with my left pedal while standing up to sprint and went full tomahawk.

Luckily no consequences, apart from an erased ego.
Robust. Glad you’re all good. Looks horrible!

short course?? long course was a big day; was out for 6 hrs. didn't help that i rode everything blind, but had good fun regardless of shitty lines everywhere. really need to ride there more often.

I rate blind racing. Mainly because I'm terrible at remembering lines anyway so it levels the field a bit against people that have heaps of time to practice. Of course, certain courses are total death if you tried to race them blind.

adds to the adrenaline factor for sure (there were a few gnar pitches on course). doesn't contribute to quick times, alas. locals certainly have an advantage.
