Seems a little early to close.... is it just the lifts? could the trails be accessed by e-bike?!
Yeah they do shut the lifts too early in the Portes du Soleil. You could still shuttle, ebike or pedal up them if you wanted but the tram in Champery is still open on the weekends and there’s other lift accessed riding in the area. Bex is a good one that I ride a lot this time of the year.

Would have been on my way to Morgins tomorrow if the lifts were open for another week, but now I’m heading to Finale instead. I’ll try to make it next summer.
Imagine it's a World Cup course, taped nice and wide, and Cathro's down there explaining the pros and cons of the two lines. Inside is way faster and sets you up nicely for the next corner, but there's less support and it doesn't let Brendog blow the berm to pieces in

We used to tape it wide for races. There’s a big drainage/compression to deal with so only half the riders took the straight line. Now it guides rain water off track.
Ridiculous how sick it is..... To the point I'm now looking at buying a place up there. (talked to the bank today about an apartment).
Morgins was about the one area I didn't get to..... Next year dammit!

I miss riding Highland, 2000 miles each way is too far for a weekend roadtrip though.
I try to get there every fall, very unique vibe to that place...Love it...

Lunch lady is super fun. I am partial to either lunch lady, maiden voyage, or ODB to ODC.
