Bad ass, but I can't believe you actually enduro'd sans a bum bag. Seems like a violation of some sort.
Hey i wore a dork vest for most of the race. Only ditched it for the last stage.

I need to borrow a bum bag just for @kidwoo . I know he'd appreciate the effort and totally never bring it up repeatedly in a mocking manner.

Just got back to Oz from a couple weeks in Madeira, Portugal doing the Trans Madeira and drinking beers. Was supposed to go in 2020 for my 40th but COVID sharted on that plan - lucky the race guys let me postpone my entry. Proper quality scene over there. Two big crashes scared me into behaving myself, but still managed to finish mid-pack in the old boys category. Got to ride the "best track in the world" and can confirm it certainly isn't over hyped.

Euro Monkeys - if you haven't been, I can't recommend enough going for a week of shuttles with the FreeRide Madeira crew. Its well worth the visit.

Took the old @Gary ™ bike out today (26" wheeled hardtail with 10 year-old single compound tires on skinny rims, 80mm coil fork with no damping, cable disc brakes) to ride some wet east coast roots and rocks. Still had a lot of fun / arm pump!

We had a solid apéro huck session after the ride. This bike hasn’t been ridden in 10 years. We pumped up the tires and hucked it to flat. It was surprisingly good!
