Hi all,

Ive owned my Pikes for a few months now, love them to bits, but over the last few days since i stripped them down they have developed a really annoying clicking noise in the top end of the compression. I've read thats its a fairly common issue with RS forks, especially Pikes, and its just the spring tapping the inside of the stanctions.

But its really irritating me, so does any one know a way to make them silent again? Or why they start making that clicking noise, they still feel great by the way.

stretch a road tube over the spring might help. thats funny, my pike has never done that but my GF's tora air does.

Mine did the same thing before I rebuilt it. Make sure the "shrink wrap" on your spring is place in the middle of the spring. That got rid of the noise for me.
