Pimp Lite VS 721

I posted this up on MTBR and got 2 replies so... I realy like the 721 but some green pimplites would look great on my Shocker. What are the pros and cons of the Pimp lite. Can you use Stans yellow tape on a pimp lite? How do the pimp lites hold up in rock gardens? Or are the Mavics superior? I do DH,~165lbs, steep rockgardens, and case/over shoot jumps evey now and again.
