the final Stage of the Pisgah Mountain Bike Stage Race was yesterday.. I was kind of bummed i didn't get to hit any of the previous stages, but was glad to get out and make it to the final stage on a couple of the most scenic trails in Pisgah National Forest, North Carolina (heaven on earth) . That trail ate my whole bike top to bottom when me and Matt rode it last month. Blown fork at the switchbacks, then derailleur seized on the climb back to the car, then tire when flat loading onto the truck. Derailleur actually puked a pivot pin in the parallelogram. Never seen that.

You guys are some twisted individuals for hitting that on day FIVE. Hiking through the undergrowth up top was ridiculously tough. People must have been delirious.

Wow that's strange. I even just clicked it and looked at the bigger version and it STILL looks like Herndon. I must be one of those people who is bad at identifying facial features or something.
