It was wet and rainy but the trails weren't bad at all. Real slick roots, but thats pretty standard for pisgah. We climbed up Slate Rock/Pilot Cove towards Slate Rock, but we took a wrong turn and popped up on another trail. It looked familiar to me so I figured it was Laurel Mountain. We just went down Laurel as opposed to backtracking to get to slate rock. It was sweet. Lots of fun.

Brad riding through some ferns.

My bike.

Waterfall, the trail crossed right through the bottom of it.

Brad riding through the mist after we hooked up to laurel mountain trail. It was a fun singletrack descent for a few miles back to the car.

End of the ride, my muddy shirt on a sign by the car.

Enjoy.
