I just swapped wheels on my bikes and now my 20mm DT 240 wheel has play inside the dropout of my Marzocchi 55 ata micro. I've tightened the axle all the way down to the point where it clicks and theres still a bit of wobble. The bearings in the hub were just changed out and there was no play with it on a Fox 36 RC2. I checked to make sure the hub was tightened up too.

Anyone else come across this problem and have a simple solution?

try taking the wheel back off and make sure there isnt anything obviously wrong.

so basically what your saying is that there play in the bearings or in the axle?

wouldnt be surprised if marz machines their axles to a different tolerance.

This has been goin on since the inception of the current 'QR' axle on Marz forks. Seem some have been able to tighten the axle further to eliminate the problem....others not.
