Alright. What's everyone jammin' to? I'm digging all Quannum Project stuff(Lyrics Born, Gift, Blackalicious). Atmosphere, Common and J5 bring it as well.

Yeah, Yeah, Yeah's! Have you guys heard this band? Kick ass catchy new punk rock with a chick who has a killer voice and lots of attitude.

Interpol I love every one of their songs. They sound like the Joy Division, Red Lorry Yellow Lorry, and Jesus and Mary Chain bands that I grew up listening to.

When I get ready for a race or big downhill huck session I like mellow music to calm me down. The more calm and relaxed I am, the smoother and faster I ride.

If I want to get psyched up I listen to or start singing Marilyn Manson, "Get Your Gun" from their first album. There aint nothing harder than that!

All those screaming cookie monster bands just sound silly to me. Also the eighties metal bands, man those guys are horrible. Are those guys serious? Trying oh so hard to sound mean.

My brother bought himself Van Halen 1984, so that's on very high rotation.
1984 is the beginning of the end for VH, kinda like the Black Album for Metallica, except not as good. Try Diver Down. That is a vicious album...

Justice is my fav, but St. Anger is a close 2nd. It's after they got all that pussy Load and Reload out of their sphincter.

You are not a VH fan then. Both 1984 and For Unlawful Carnal Knowledge are both both incredible albums. Songwriting, musicality, and of course- guitar playing.

I myself have been listening to Shout at The Devil.

I had forgot how hard Helter Skelter rocks.

Diver Down is a great album, but it is mostly cover songs.

If you like these guys, pick up these albums:

1. Gift of Gab - 4th Dimensional Rocketship Going Up
2. Haiku D'Etat - Coup de Teatre

rediculously solid... needs to be appreciated/listened_to as an album.

You've got to be kidding about these bands. They are all trying way to hard to sound all bad ass. Weak. Just a bunch of noise. You listen to whatever you want and I'll listen to everything and decide what I like.

Current Playlist:

Led Zepplin: When the Levy Breaks
Kid Koala: Unreleased Live Recording
Piano Overlord: Spring Breaks (remix)
Diplodicus: Big Loss
Handsome Boy Modeling School: Breakdown
Rjd2: Get Off My Spaceship B!tch
Dj Shadow: In Tune and On Time
Unkle: Eye For an Eye
Lil' Flip: Game Over

It's kinda an odd mix, but it's all based on each other, so there's a kind of thematic cohesiveness that allows it to work.

Metallica is good. But I would have to say my favorite album right now is Rammstein "Reise, Reise". I might be in a different language but I am really interested in this music. They have some great beats. I believe it is one of the top hard rock albums out there right now. Some of the new Korn is good too. I like the remake of another brick in the wall.

I just wanna say i love you guys. After hanging out on a bunch of sport compact websites with all their b.s. about my sh*t is tyte (y added for ricer-ness) its refreshing to hear about something decent. Especially Atmosphere (just got Seven's Travels and Godlovesugly) and Thursday, which i think theres an e.p. that has jet black new year live on it and some other live songs. They did that song when i saw them a few years ago (best concert ever), and i saw atmosphere for the first time ever this summer on warped tour, best act imo. Throw somemore undergroud hip-hop at me to check out, im new to the game (and working on being more ganster...i mean gangsta). Also doing My Chemical Romance's new one and Burn Piano Island Burn- Blood Brothers and just got the new one from MOrrisey, dunno how good it is.

Jet Black New Year<<<<sick effing song, you should hear it live :thumb:
Can't you hear it live on five stories falling?

I dig Thursday but sometimes Geoff whines too much. My fav of theirs is Understanding in a car crash.

Let's see here...

The new Pinback CD Summer in Abaddon is awesome as are all of their CD's!
Obviously The Mars Volta rule
I like Chin Up Chin Up
Idlewild Is a waaay more lasting Scottish band than Franz Ferdinand who although talented are IMO overrated and will be lucky to have staying power.
Metallica Master of Puppets has been resurrected lately

For Hip-Hop I dig J5, Del, Outkast and many others...

I thought you were joking about the Yeahs. Someone else did too. Some are hard yes but others are not and they are far from just noise. Sorry to offend I thought you were joking thats all.
