I've been thinking of buying a brand new bike, but recently saw some good looking deals on CL which look like a lot more bike for the money. I'd like to get a bike that I can ride pretty much anywhere, mostly trail & some DH. Please give some opinions on these 5 I've listed below from CL.

id go with the santa cruz bullet, they can take any thing you will throw at them and pedal pretty good.

i'd say either the bullit or the giant reign. the bullit is gonna be the most dh friendly, but you'll suffer for it on the trails, especially with the parts build that guy has. the reign would make a better all around bike, and has a great parts build for it, but can still handle aggressive descending (but not full blown DH)

my $0.02 - if its gonna see mostly trail use, the reign would be my choice. i know a few guys that have them, and they thrash 'em pretty hard and love 'em.

Has the Reign 1 above been upgraded a lot compared to stock? I see new 2011 Reign 1's on clearance sale for $2050
