Polish Air Lines flight 113 was descending for a landing at an airport they had never been to before. The pilot looked out the windshield and suddenly exclaimed to the copilot, "Holy cow! Look how short the runway is! I`ve never seen one that short!"

The copilot looked out the windshield. "Wow! you`re right! That`s incredible! Are you sure we can make it?"

"Well we better, were almost out of fuel."

So the captain got on the intercom and notified the passengers to put their heads between their knees and prepare for an emergency landing. Then he set the flaps to full down and slowed the plane to just over stall speed. The big jumbo jet came screaming in, on the
ragged edge of control. The pilot`s hands were sweating, the copilot was praying. They touched down and came screeching to a halt JUST before the edge of the runway, the tires smoking.

"WHEW! That was CLOSE!" yelled the captain."That runway was SHORT!"

"Yeah!" said the copilot,"and WIDE too!"

That plane crash took out most of the senior political hierarchy of Poland. As anti-govt as I am, that is not good for a country like Poland which is barely above 2nd world, as is.

Ah, reading more, it was one of the retard twins that runs the country:

During the Russian-Georgian conflict over South Ossetia, Kaczynski flew to Georgia to show support for the Georgian leader. The president, as the supreme commander of the military, ordered the pilot to land near the breakaway republic and the military pilot respectfully refused, saying it was too dangerous and that Kaczynski may be his supreme commander on the ground, but not in the air.

Eventually, he landed at a safer airport and the president had to take a really long drive in a motorcade. Upon arrival, an angry Kaczynski told reporters that it was unacceptable for his orders to be ignored like that and decisions about his travel be made “on such a low level.”

It is not a tragedy of Polish country . It's not a tragedy of ppl from this flight , it is a tragedy of their families and friends . No matter if they were ministers/presidents/teachers or whatever . They were human beings and they deserve respect . If You don't understand it , grow up . Maybe You should start a "funny" topic about WTC or US soldiers who died in Iraq/Afghanistan ? One thing my friend pointed out was that everyone on the plane, among being leaders of Poland, were also pro-Russia, and were ready to deal with Putin.

Putin had actually invited these people personally.

So now that they are dead, guess who is left? The people that Putin didn't invite. And in two weeks, these anti-Russian Poles will take over the government.

-not everyone on the plane were politicians (commandership of Polish army , priests , ppl who had been representing families of Polish officers murdered in Katyn and many others were on the plane )
-Kaczynski , and other politicians on this plane were actualy anti-Russian , not pro like You said
-Putin had invited Polish prime minister not president (day before ,and they had used exactly the same plane );(prime minister can invite prime minister , president invites other presidents , Kaczynski was invited by Miedviediev )
- noone will take over government (because there is no reason to take over government by anyone )
-presidents in European countries have rather representative function it's not like in the US .
-there will be a new president elect , ministers will be "replaced" , that's all
