seems bmx bikes have there bars higher in relation to the BB than our bikes.

Its a point of leverage i think our bike are missing out on for manuals
& hops.

my mtb has a 13 bb and a bar height about 38.
thats a 25''difference. there abouts. i already
thought my bars are high. but they are low compaired
to bmx stuff.

from most bmx bikes i have mesured have a
26-27'' difference.

So, i just want to see what other peoples are runnning ok?:clue:

yes thats right. do you like your bar height?
yes sirrr... i just dropped the travel on my fork to 65mm from 95mm.. so ive lost an inch in bar height. it was a bit awkward the first ride (with a bit steeper head angle), but now im diggin it. I think a 1" rise bar or a flat stem would be to low for me personally. although i may give the stem a shot...

sitting and pedaling, standing and pedaling, it really does remind me of my bmx bike years back. the relation of seat-pedals-bars is somewhat like i remember.

Yeah, you have a higher BB, so I think you need more rise on your bars. I also think that more street/park/dj 24s and 26s should have higher BBs... above the axle line, just like a BMX.
