Here are a couple shots of my Enduro before I take everything off for the new bike (coming soon). I call it the Little Hit. The new frame will also be Romic and will complement the Saint components much better.

The new ride will be a [HINT]transition[/HINT] to a little bit bigger bike. I was on vacation last week, but I should be able to pick up all the parts I need in the next couple days. I'll post pics soon.

It was at 33 lbs with Romic and 5" Z1 fork. I think it's more like 36 with Saint components and heavier rear wheel.

I have had a lot of fun with this bike. I broke the welds on the shock mount last year, but they warrantied it and sent me an '03 frame. I may end up selling it to pay for the new bike, but I'd love to keep it if I can afford it.

The shock should be 7.625" x 2.0". I emailed Romic before I placed my order and they said they build one specifically for the Enduro frame. They sized the spring for my weight. I think it's 500 or 550. It rides great! My new bike will also have a Romic.

That is frikin' sweat, moondog! I have an '02 Enduro and since I moved out here and discovered way more aggressive riding than what I've been used to (and busted my collar bone at Whistler in the process) I've been thinking about "tanking" it up a notch. I was gonna start with a set of sticky bomb-proof wheels... How wide do you think the frame can take? Is 2.5" "too beaucoup"? I was actually considering switching out the rear Fox for a 5th element... Why did you choose a romic? Finally, I'm on the lookout for a 5" travel dual crown... If it exists. Anyone know of any? I've been told the dual crown wouldn't really be an advantage but I must admit it'd be more for the "pimp" factor. Did you stick to essentially the same amount of travel front and rear so as not to mess with the geometry too much? I'm glad to see I'm not the only one "wasting their time and money" pimping out what is in my opinion one of the finest rides out there.

I have a 2.5 on the rear right now and it fits, but just barely. It probably depends on the tire and make sure your wheel is true.

I'm not sure how well a 5th would fit. I picked Romic because I heard they were building shocks specifically for the Enduro. The twin tube design also allows for more seatpost travel than shocks with a piggy-back. I ruined the stock Fox shock when the seatpost drove into the side of it.

The rear travel stayed the same but I currently have a 5" Z1 on the front. Some of the upgrades I did was in anticipation of getting a new frame anyway. Putting a DC on an enduro seems a bit overkill, but I've seen a picture of one before and it looks pretty cool. I would suggest that if you do start putting money into your Enduro just keep in mind that someday you may want a bigger and stronger bike. Once I get my new frame I will be reverting my Enduro back to mostly stock parts. That will keep it fairly light for it's intended all mountain design.
