so, my configuration which has worked for the last year is suddenly not.
current puTTy tunnel config:
L(random port) popmail:110
L(random port) popmail:25
L(random port) someDomainomePort
current winamp config:
someBookmark: http://localhostomePort
popmail ports still work push/pull, but other ports seem to be blocked. Obviously, I couldn't get this far if my tunnel was chopped. Is there a way i can check to see if my attempt to reach another host (which is up) is getting past the firewall? Does anyone here have a tried & true recipe for proper configuration?
Google was only so helpful w/ keywords ssh putty "port forwarding"
