Looking to put it on a flash drive for the laptop in the work truck so I can keep my bookmarks, settings and whatnot. According to what I've read the portable version does not support flash. Is there some kind of plugin or something I can get that will allow it to work via the thumb drive? The laptop in the truck won't allow me to update it because I don't have "administrative privileges". My ignorance level on this stuff is high. Educate me.

The one way I differ with the author is I recommend:

X:\path\FirefoxPortable\Data\plugins

while he recommands:
X:\path\FirefoxPortable\App\firefox\plugins

Mine works for me his works for him, whatcha gonna say

Thanks BV. I *think* its working. Running Portable Firefox on the home computer right now as I type this message. Youtube vids and everything that normally don't work on the truck computer seem to be working right now at home. I guess the acid test will be tomorrow at work.

Chrome has flash built-in, why not try the portable version:
