Seriously, stay away from portable fuel burning heaters in the garage. I use one of those oil filled electric radiators. Isn't fast but once the temp is up, it keeps it there pretty well. I also have an infrared heater above the workbench. Those things are great.

Ceramic heaters are THE BEST!

They are cheap, electric and put out ALOT of heat.
