Perhaps this is somehow related to the ToC being at the same time. I'm not sure how, but I'm sure there's a conspiracy to uncover...

That's just nuts! They hitched about not being able to use race radios for one day. I don't think anyone will want to do that flight. And still have to race the following day (I'm assuming). I think RSC should look into promoting a race that could include Canada and Mexico stages.

Pretty dumb idea. The Giro has gotten a lot of crap recently for not being friendly to racers with poor scheduling, lots of long transfers and the like. This year looks to be no exception. But moving the start to a different continent seems like a new level.
