After bumping into a 5ft snake outside our back door earlier today (see photo thread), DSO will no longer go out the back door of the house.
Elkhound mix? I have had three Elkhound/Shepherd rescues.

My friend's pup who obsessively herded and protected us for a few days on the PCT. Anyone who gets a Belgian Shepherd better have a job for it or it will find its own.
My cat loves being on a leash outside as well, but the little fucker then gets grumpy when it's time to go inside.
This one is pretty OK with it. 1 of the others is occasionally OK with it on the back deck. And our 3rd says oh hell no fuck you if you try to put that thing on me

Pixel 6 "enhance" after a zoom in. It's the grill that kills me. He usually has a snag, but this was straight underbite.

I'll drive up to Rotorua and collect him on the 8th of next month. (do a couple of days riding while I'm there as well).

EDIT-My neighbors' last dog was a chocolate lab, he was a 50+kg monster and I think his brain weighed about an ounce, god damn he was dumb but he was such a nice dog.
