We decorated the garage and handed out candy and pizza to the kids and parents in the hood. Never got a picture of us all dressed up but we had fun and will take it up a notch next year after this first run

We were keeping it 100% real. When we were decorating my wife asked me if I had place a plastic spider in the corned inside behind the painting you see which I hadn't! So yes we had real spiders to put a real scare in both kids and moms.

low turnout in the hood we went to for tricks and treats. Kid had fun though, met up with her friend and got plenty of candy. I was happy until I got home and the wife was fugueing. Kid has a nasty cough, keep hoping we can kick it

Mayhap cigars and bourbon tonight. Could be wonderful and well needed after this week of stress and insanity

Cars coming into the city from up north this morning had snow on them.

This confirms two things; winter is officially coming and these asshats are already not cleaning off their cars.

I swear to the @FSM, this neighborhoods Halloween gets shittier every year. Still, kids managed to grab a decent haul, we just had to walk further. Was informed this was my last year as dad-escort. I've walked the hood with daughter and her friend since they were 5. Guess it was just a matter of time, dad's not cool any more. :(

I'm having eggs and meatloaf for breakfast though, so I've got that going on for me, which is nice.

Good night with the little ones. My youngest was a maniac, he was so excited to go out. This was his first real year of it making sense and being able to do it all on his own. We had a bunch of friends over, ordered pizza and and went out. Good times. Now back at work and FTS meter is pegged for Friday.

In the bathroom, fighting a battle
Left Home Depot yesterday evening and saw a giant smoke column, yep, more fire. Luckily this one was pretty far away, and may result in power outages at work, so we've got that going for us.

Total first world problem, but it sucks when the brewery is 1/4 mile from your house, but all their house beers kinda suck, and their guest beers are all over hopped IPAs except for 2. Last kid-less Halloween for us so we walked to the brewery to get pizza, wings and ice cream, due to a)pregnant women can't drink and b)the aforementioned sub par beers, it ended up being a fairly low key Halloween.

I was made aware while at said brewery that another brewery is opening up a little further up the road. Hopefully they can churn out some quality beer, or just throw good guest beers on the tap.

Morning Monkeys.

Second CCAT today, only this time I will be on a video call being monitored. I am curious if it is the same questions as the first. I can recall quite a few of the tougher ones and have made some notes. I am told I get my score from this one where as last time I just got a "Thank You". :drag:

One co worker is out of the country. Of course there is a problem with one of his servers. But LOL the guy added users directly to the local admin group and not our existing security groups. Bonehead move and thus not my problem that I cannot fix it. Basic best practice crap like this not being done is why I don't want other people touching my work. Ughhhhhhh.

But woo, coffee is flowing.

I ran out of Ketchup packets and KFC Hot sauce packs about 7: . None of the kids wanted shots of Mouth Wash or dabs of tooth paste. No noticed vandalism. I noticed all the Ketchup packs in my neighbors yard again this year.
