Very true. Most of the time it was people getting at least 2-3 feet off the ground then 50/50ing themselves on the bar. I have personally come in too fast on a few occasions cleared the bar and just barely landed on the end mat before falling off onto the ground. I've also had a few times in Pole Vault where I missed the mat completely, I have the broken ankle to prove it......but tippy toeing in a sun visor at a 90 degree angle to the mat...and still landing parallel to it?
