My buddy is a mechanic at the local bike shop. His Sram/RS rep is letting him check it out for a little while. It is pretty sweet feeling, and so far performing awesome. He seems to really like it. He was die-hard Marzocchi user before this encounter. It adds to the bling factor also...

I thought that looked like your frame. why did you let her go again?
---------i sold her so i could get a SGS TEAM frame but i got a bill from school so i had to pay the bill...........i wanted longer travel and wanted to represent my shop better by riding a bike that people could buy. (to the owner) jus so u know, a boxxer on that frame is beyond dope

Here is mine..

Yeti 4x prototype
Thompson Post and Stem
Chris King Headset
MRP
Hope Mini's and hubs
Sherman Firefly's 04
Sram X.9
Holzerfeller Cranks ( i want polished ones though)

All the good stuff..... except the swinger 4way, it's has spent more time off the bike getting fixed than on, so i'm getting a coil for it, i herd Manitou would be making a swinger coil in 6.5"x1.5" so i'll get that if they make it soon otherwise it's a fox or 5thelement dont know which yet.

Those Pikes feel awesome, i have been a Manitou man through and through, but the pikes i felt felt like no other fork i had ever felt.... soooo nice and after Psylo's i have really hadf a problem buying RS forks... but i dunno these felt really good.

Yeah, I have been running the Balfa with an 03' Super T for DH. I love the frame. The Avy is awesome and handles anything that I can throw at it.

Comparing it to the Norco. The Norco is a much lighter, more nimble/flickable bike. The Norco is also seems a little snappier out of the hole. The Balfa though feels like it can handle anything. I do not think I have ever bottomed it out... I have run it at Anglefire DH race with the DC and brought it home and trail ride and DJ on it with the single crown. Very versatile.

Welp, my frame is a small I think, it's got a 17" ST, a 22.5" top tube I believe and a 1.5 headset. If you go to Iron Horses Site, you can see the specs for the frame. I'm positive it's got a 17" seat tube and the top tube is 1" longer than the standard 03 hollowpoint

I had to get another Norco (see page 1) because I missed my first one so much. Now I have it exaclty as I want it. Changed out the 35m stem to a new Thomson X4 50mm and changed a few other things, but it is basically like in the picture..

Sold the Balfa and got a DHR, guess I gotta post that on the DH bike thread also.
