If it were a '99, I would rock the wheels off. Not a fan of the square, but the 7.3 engine is awesome if you can get past the ugly.So we got a 1998 Ford F-350 regular cab power stroke in at work, not sure on the miles but the condition is a solid 8 out of 10. my cost would be $2,600. I have absolutely no use for the truck and no room for it but I have always wanted one. Decisions....
what this man said. that motor alone is worth ~$1500. throw in a cab to drive it around for a grand on top of that? yessir, sounds like a perfect shuttle truck. Longbed? If it were a '99, I would rock the wheels off. Not a fan of the square, but the 7.3 engine is awesome if you can get past the ugly.
I'm a huge fan of the square, hate the 99.If it were a '99, I would rock the wheels off. Not a fan of the square, but the 7.3 engine is awesome if you can get past the ugly.
The beds look 'right' when loaded and the spring pack sags a bit, but I agree.I don't like the squares because they all look broken to me. The cab and bed sink together (worse on the club and crew cabs), looks like the frame is sagging.
I loved the 7.3 I had, it ran like a boss on B99, too.
Holy crap I cant believe how old he is.My kids and wife have rekindled that money pit as of this year. Plus my oldest is hooked on DH'ing now.
Throw another stack on the fire. We will die broke but without a bucket-list, the way life is intended.

What is the fastest car in the 1/4 mile from the 1980s?
*I'll save ya some time. God damn this car is awesome. It even beats everything into the mid 90s. Why GM decided to make Buick bad ass for a few years still baffles me.

been awhile since you posted an update... hows your rig coming along?
My truck has been on hold for far too long. I hope the dust will settle and I can get back at it. But I had to move it to my buddies shop and it's 2 hours away. Plus I need to save up about $6k for all my suspension.been awhile since you posted an update... hows your rig coming along?
That looks pretty sweet.Picked up a 58 Apache this weekend. Three on the tree with a small block 350. My new daily
Nope CA has Diesel Smog checks, everything not in place and working you don't get to register the vehicle. The fine is a tad expensive tooI wonder if you removed the EGR (legal over there?) if you would get a improvement in performance. Some diesel turbos do, like the TD27 (in Ford Maverick) for example. They get blocked up over time.
you're a pretty short dude.
I will have some good pics when its all done, but for the next couple weeks just phone pics while I am finishing it up.Nice work, the crap phone pic didn't do the Toy justice.
I dig the cheap buckets, the ones like that I tried were pretty damn comfy for $250 a pair at the tunner store. I need a car before I need seats.I will have some good pics when its all done, but for the next couple weeks just phone pics while I am finishing it up.
wait till you see my next monster when these two are doneNice work GFF bad ass trucks!
a buddy said that the other day when he was over. I am replacing the corner light and the hood is up and the rest of the bumper isnt finished so it really doesnt even look like a yota right now. I am fabbing a bumper that will look like a road armor type bumper and replacing everything with LED. spent a few hours on the back putting in the stop turn tails, backups and plate lights. will upload a pic in a fewthe front of the toyota kind of looks like a kaiser M715...
