i know it's the pot thread, but it's been pretty dead for a bit, and i'm not gonna start a new thread for this, so here goes.
I tried E on cinco de mayo, and it was one of the most incredible experiences ever.
Everybody told me my first time woul be the best, but anyway, we were headed for the hot springs, about an hour away. it was 8:30, we'd just gotten on the freeway, when kendra passed out pills to me and our 5 other friends in the van, then took one herself (everybody except the driver, you always need a designated driver, right?) about 15 minutes later, i got this sensation of just pure bliss, about nothing in particular, and i was like "you guys have gotta turn up the music, you need to right now" i felt like my life depended on it, and it was never lud enough, even at full volume.
I turned on the dome light, (there was a poster covering the ceiling of the van, with crazy designs in it, and the dome light was under it, so it lit up the poster) and i slipped my hands under the poster and started playing with it, pushing certain sections out and what not, needless to say, i was entertained until we arrived at the lodge at the hot springs.
At the hot springs, i was still lit as f*ck, but Kendra gave us each one more pill at about midnight, and since everybody was hitting the bars for cinco de mayo, the springs were empty, and the manager was cool, he said we could go have some fun.
Jason (our designated driver) brought a stereo/CD changer down to the pools, and turned it on with 6 CD's, one chosen by each of us, (except for henry, because he forgot to bring one) and Jason decided to stay straight, and just be our watcher, in case anyone got hurt or into trouble or something.
I don't remember much after this, but Jason tells me I thought it was hilarious to jump in the cold pool, then jump into the pool with the hot springwater, he says i did that non-stop for about 20 minutes, just laughing my ass off. we later went to the dance hall, which was pretty empty, except for one other group of people about our age, and a few old couples, and I was apparently going crazy, dancing with everyone, and i sang karaoke. I remember waking up with kendra in my bed, and the experience is all i've been thinking about since.
I don't remember it as the incredible aphrodisiac drug, that gives you lots of sexual feelings, really just the name 'ecstasy' says all there is to say. I was getting along pretty well with everybody though.
on another note, looking for a ride-buddy in So Cal, preferably near solana beach/del mar area. PM me
i like to screw around with stunts, do mostly FR, and hit drops, basically everything that's bad for the bike, and i like a nice leisurely XC ride too. DH scares the life out of me, and my bike's not built for that anyway.

Id recommend LSD if your looking for somthing much more mind opening. And id have to agree with t-pirate, start doing allot of E and eventually your going to get filler and or knockoffs.
Acid will mess your head and youll never be the same because youll have crazy flashbacks of oriental rugs that roll themselves into bean burritos and your the meat and you can never escape and all you can see is when you close your eyes is a thousand bean burritos with the taco bell guys voice telling you 'they dont know what we know' but in the end it all just makes sense and you decide that taco bell kicks ass.

i just realized, that one night i was talkiing about way earlier in the thread, when i got high from the tea that i put the weed in...well i always put a little milk in, but that night, it was almost all milk, then just the teabags.
i'm crazy interested in hallucinagens, i've done mushrooms, and smoked salvia, i've always wanted to try acid, but i don't know much about it, and to tell you the truth, the thought of it freaks me out a bit. i know a guy who gets microdot, and i could always get a bit if i needed, but i'm not totally sure about it. are there any types i should look out for? any types that are particularly beginner-friendly? i know i need to be in a good mindset entering the trip, i've got friends who can talk me into it. i don't mind spending money for good acid, i just need to know what's good, and what's bewginner safe. you got any info? thanks, E was a good experience, but i think once is all i need, to solve my curiosity.

i was always partial to liquid &/or gel tabs. paper & microdot were never very....uh...comfortable, but still fun to a degree. i would never take the stuff ever again though.

i have replaced my meds with ganja.
I have been on perks for 3 weeks with brocken bones etc. and ganja is the only thing that stops the pain and allows me to eat. perks and almost every med makes me dizzy and naucious.

anyway, i got a nice bubbler for 90 bucks, and for portability, i've got my little 25 dollar piece pipe. just picked up a 4th of platinum OG kush, and i'm really wishing i had a camera. some of these nugs are works of art, and it's smelling really nice too.
oh and anyone know if i'll have to do any drug tests when going through the process of getting my driver's license?

Man, this thread is LOOOONG. Too bad I'm only getting in on the action now. I live in Colorado, tree huggin hippie capital of the central United States. And I must say, these guys know how to grow some chronic. I couldn't even find you seeded schwag if I tried. I smoke about every day, I just got a new job so, there isn't a wake and bake anymore. 
But I find only one thing more relaxing (sex) and combining the two is almost overkill on the relaxation scale. Sometimes I smoke before I go ride, but only with the intention of cruising around. If I've got urban thrash on my mind then no thanks, it's a quick road to bashed up legs and being uber-tired. My favorite recipe is either tea, or brownies. I consider myself a connoseur, and hold out for the finest nugs I can find. So if any of you are ever in Fort Collins, CO pm me.

I'm looking for that sweet-spot between long-term potency and pragmatism, so I was hoping to investigate the hierarchy of various storage techniques.
Could someone please enlighten me with their knowledge?

TN speaks wisdom, but that doesn't help much in storage. The freezer is fine, imo. The idea that cold temps is destructive, comes from the method of making bubble hash. The cold will break the cannabinoids from their cells, but you have to really agitate your supply. Like stirring, when you make bubble hash. If you're just leaving them in a bag in the freezer they arn't being agitated, so nothing is comming loose. Potency isn't affected. The stanky smell will disappear because your stash is frozen. If you're still worried, just get a good sized Mason Jar, or sealable flour jar, and store in that, at room temp.

Snider said Thursday the firefighters were exposed to so much marijuana smoke that they would not be able to pass a drug test, despite wearing air packs to prevent them from inhaling toxic or hazardous fumes.
