Its basically going to mirror how the government controls beer and liquor here in Ontario. It'll only be sold by the government, in government run physical stores or internet sales.
Oh and all the existing dispensaries will be forced to close.

Separate stores - can't sell booze and pot together - heaven forbid, so instead of using the 872 stores already in place, we are going to start with 40 for ~416 000 square miles of territory.

All current grey market dispensaries are to be closed, putting many highly knowledgeable people out of work.
They are going to hire all new people and train them, good union job if you know somebody.

My prediction is that the black market will continue to thrive as it does now. Pricing will be way off and the quality will be poor to start off with. The bud that is imported into the states will continue to be grown and distributed as it is now. Hashish from Turkey and Lebanon will continue to be smuggled into Canada as it is now. The Hells Angels are not going anywhere either....For Ontario weed.

You have constraints you are not aware of. The local Hydro Co. may or may not notice the spike in your utility consumption and have the OPP's not on your payroll stop by. The neighbors might smell your garden and tell a Mountie about their suspicion. Shit happens and I am not sure most folks can handle the pressure when the Mounties show up. Are you willing to put your family in jeopardy for a little smoke? A friend you trust and know very well may have a bigmouth and tell his friend about your grow and tell the wrong person and that person could bust into your house and eff your shit up.... Mounties don't fuck around either....

It'll cost literally a few dollars per month in electricity to power five 60watt bulbs, which is plenty for one plant. It'll be no different than some of the other houses around here with twenty pot lights on the exterior of their house going 24/7.
