Thought it was an Onion article from the headline...

It's always with the fuckin' projection.

"He did not detail precisely how such a commission would operate, besides saying it would develop a plan to eliminate "fraud and improper payments" within six months of being formed."
I can't tell you my idea because you will steal it. So I will tell you it will be successful in 6 months because of course it will be.

OK, serious question here.
Can you actually read this and not think “This man is not only incompetent, but likely senile.” ?

Because those are the ramblings of a total nincompoop.

Donald Trump was asked today if he would commit to prioritizing legislation to make childcare affordable, and if so, what specific legislation he would advance.

This is an unedited transcript of his response:

“Well, I would do that, and we're sitting down, and I was, somebody, we had Senator Marco Rubio, and my daughter Ivanka was so, uh, impactful on that issue. It's a very important issue. But I think when you talk about the kind of numbers that I'm talking about, that, because, look, child care is child care is. Couldn't, you know, there's something, you have to have it – in this country you have to have it.

But when you talk about those numbers compared to the kind of numbers that I'm talking about by taxing foreign nations at levels that they're not used to — but they'll get used to it very quickly – and it's not gonna stop them from doing business with us, but they'll have a very substantial tax when they send product into our country. Uh, those numbers are so much bigger than any numbers that we're talking about, including child care, that it's going to take care.

We're gonna have - I, I look forward to having no deficits within a fairly short period of time, coupled with, uh, the reductions that I told you about on waste and fraud and all of the other things that are going on in our country, because I have to stay with child care. I want to stay with child care, but those numbers are small relative to the kind of economic numbers that I'm talking about, including growth, but growth also headed up by what the plan is that I just, uh, that I just told you about.

We're gonna be taking in trillions of dollars, and as much as child care, uh, is talked about as being expensive, it's, relatively speaking, not very expensive compared to the kind of numbers we'll be taking in. We're going to make this into an incredible country that can afford to take care of its people, and then we'll worry about the rest of the world. Let's help other people, but we're going to take care of our country first. This is about America first. It's about Make America Great Again, we have to do it because right now we're a failing nation, so we'll take care of it. Thank you. Very good question. Thank you.”

Drove through a very red section of Washington today that for the last 8 years has always had lots and lots of Trump signs. Today I only saw a single little Trump/Vance yard sign, there were more Kennedy signs.

Very sad there were so few big beautiful signs.

Last election, an auto or tire dealership in Independence, VA going towards Grayson Highlands had a massive Trump banner that took up the entire second floor of the front of the building. Must have cost several thousand dollars. Wonder if they have one this election.

That kind of money could have made 1.5 truck payments in Trump country.

Many in Israel do want Netanyahu to just stop. Problem is if they do that means Hamas wins, and will repeat 10/7 down the road. If you think for one minute Hamas will just go away if Israel puts down their arms and leaves Gaza I have a bridge to sell you! Netanyahu's goals are to eradicate Hamas which is difficult because they hide amongst the innocent Palestinian people which is why all the unfortunate casualties. It's a no win situation, but I understand Netanyahu's motivation not to stop.
Brother, tell me what is anti Semitic to you?

People/our Goverment, seem to confuse the matter.

Anti Semitic is Not against the Jewish people,it is against their Goverment, and what BB is doing by killing All of these Innocent people. They Are Not All Hamas!

So if Avy say’s,this is Wrong for BB to do what he is doing. I speak of this Genoside, not the Jews, and their Pain. The Goverment,Not the People.

You seem to have a very narrow view of the History in this Country. As If Hamas Is All of Them! It is not,as fucked up as it is,it Is Not.

Last, you did not answer my question about How the Fuck the tunnel Rats, got past the Greatest Security in Modern Times? With Warning.

Answer the question.

I think BB let it happen to prolong his position.

He is Probally the Goat for somehow coming out on Top his whole dam sorry ass career.

Anti-Semitic is, indeed, hatred of the Jewish people, anywhere and everywhere in the diaspora.
Anti-Zionist is what you are trying to convey.
Furthermore, there are a number of different ideologies present in the Zionist state, some hew to BB, and others do not.

Doesn’t the term “Semite” cover a lot more than just “Jewish?”

Pretty sure Semites (sons of Shem) include Jews and Arabs. That is admittedly nothing more than semantics, but I always found the use of anti-semitism to mean anti-judaism strange / incorrect.

"Semitic people or Semites is an obsolete term for an ethnic, cultural or racial group[2][3][4][5] associated with people of the Middle East, including Arabs, Jews, Akkadians, and Phoenicians. The terminology is now largely unused outside the grouping "Semitic languages" in linguistics.[6][7][8] First used in the 1770s by members of the Göttingen school of history, this biblical terminology for race was derived from Shem (Hebrew: שֵׁם), one of the three sons of Noah in the Book of Genesis,[9] together with the parallel terms Hamites and Japhetites. I think it's OK to be anti-"bomb everybody else" and still not anti-semitic. I think what Hamas did was horrible and justifies an appropriate response from Israel to defend itself. I'm not sure that killing 40,000 people is appropriate nor equal. I don't think you have to be a Jew to have an opinion on that either.

That is true, but it boils down to ‘sons of Abraham/Ibrahim’. In contemporary context, it is almost always in regards to Jews.

Brian?
Thoughts?
I knew Liz was for sure, first I heard about Dick. I know Liz hates Trump with a passion so that's a given. End of the day Texas is pretty much a red state and those few won't make a difference as I don't think they're too influential. Kind of like Tulsi Gabbard, she changed party's but will probably have little to no impact on the Trump vote. Here in California, my wife and I will vote for Trump, but it will be a landslide in Kamala's favor.

The problem is Hamas in hiding underground in all those tunnels they built are just like an ant colony and go on for miles. Israel did drop cards telling them to evacuate at the very beginning to help spare as many innocent lives as possible. Many did not leave and unfortunately lost their lives. Hamas hiding in tunnels underground leaves Israel forced to bomb from above. Hamas need to release the hostages and try to come up with a peaceful solution where they can at least "tolerate" each other and put an end to all of this disaster.

Nope, is what it is.

Fun fact: I've been registered republican since first voting to Regan in 1984. I did vote for Clinton in 1992 & 1996 because I felt he would do/did a decent job. Bush Sr. I felt he wasn't an impactful president still riding on Regan's coat tales. Bush Sr. was instrumental in getting involved in the Gulf War that was unnecessary for us to be involved in.

How many "normal" people would be still walking around with the same conviction rate? Most would be in pre-sentence detention if not already sentenced.

While I don’t like it, I can see that. He’s the weirdGOP candidate. It would be pretty difficult to punish him accurately without the entire MAGAt army coming after you. The punishment is going to be a slap on the wrist anyways…
