I actually do want biden to get elected to stave off what everyone with eyes sees coming. But living in fantasyland thinking everything is great based on some weak pathetic and mostly symbolic accomplishments is what let the devil in the door in 2016. It's happening again because no one wants to actually do better, and are just satisfied with 'still not the other guy'.
Biden got elected because his campaign had an ear to the ground with what was going on in the US. A lot of people who don't normally vote came out because of that. They aren't going to this time. So much of that goodwill has been thrown out the window in the last few years. He might actually lose because of it.
