I’m almost afraid to ask, and trying to be mindful of how I ask, but what’s the perceived strategy and benefit to Biden in a scenario where he allows unfettered immigration?

Also, Harris is clearly reading the room and seeing an American interest in addressing immigration issues and pivoting. This isn't a guaranty of action and might not be enough to sway a significant number of voters away from Trump.

“The American people deserve a president who cares more about border security than playing political games,” the vice president said.

Harris blamed the ex-president for the immigration crisis at the southern border by spotlighting his leading role last spring in killing a bipartisan deal to curb illegal border crossings.

At a campaign event in Douglas, Arizona, Harris claimed Trump “did nothing to fix our broken immigration system” as president, adding that Republicans were trying to force a “false choice” between border security and a “safe, orderly and humane” immigration system.

“We can and must do both,” she told supporters in Douglas.

Imagine if Barron suddenly went down the path Musk’s kid did and transitions gender and publicly renounces the Trump family.

Not that I have any reason to expect this could really happen.

Strategy - let all those brown people in and then let them (illegally) vote in the federal election.

We'll ignore the fact that it's already illegal for non-citizens to vote in federal elections, and that, according to a report by NPR, "proven instances of noncitizen voting are vanishingly rare."

OK, I'll stop now.

Are we still building a wall somewhere to keep out the muslims?
Are the muslims coming in through Mexico?
I just haven't heard anything about muslim immigration lately and I wanted to make sure I was still supposed to be outraged about it.

I’ll have my people look into that.

Looking at some stories about the wall I noticed how many times there were photos of people climbing up and over it. Was the wall actually put there as some sort of physical fitness screening test? Like, if you can make it through all the obstacles to get there, then scale the wall, maybe you’re fit enough to do manual labor in this country and we can use you. Some sort of American Migrant Warrior challenge, if you will.

Front Range, dude...
When Biden took office, he immediately removed all of Trumps border policies and stopped construction of the wall. He gave Kamala the job of solving the boarder issue aka "Boarder Czar". Biden just had an interview on the TV show the View. He came out and said, Kamala has been in every decision he and the administration has made since taking office. Yes, she has zero power to make any changes. However, this was a calculated move by the Biden administration to allow more people into the country, plain & simple.
Not sure if trying to be amusingly sarcastic or has simply drank too much Kool Aid...hoping for the former but betting on the latter. Especially knowing the history...
