I've met random dudes from all over - the non-Mexican immigrant is way more prevelant than it was years ago. They all say their from Mexico but once they realize I consider them equals and humans, they end up telling me they came from El Salvador, Guatamala, and other countries that are experiencing humanitarian crisis.

Only got a few minutes in on the debate but heck these two sound way more presidential than the presidential candidates did. Vance clearly wants to pin everything in Biden’s administration on Harris. He puts up a much better presentation than I expected, even when I disagree with him or see his angle.
So a relatively low bar for talking in sentences was met, vance lied through his teeth and refused to accept that the orange pedo lost the last election, thus further priming his base for violence later this year. 'There you have it' indeed, and as pointed out elsewhere:

Could not agree more. Vance for sure has to appeal to his base (and to Trump) but I feel like he's way more moderate than he lets on.
Fact checking could have been a bit more "robust". 
Vance shocked me. I was expecting more craziness and/or buffoonery.
I think it goes to show what level of language and behavior Trump has normalized and that Harris had to react to, and the moderators had to be prepared for.
