at my old place in oregon the power would go out all the time. I enjoyed tying flies by oil lamp untill it came back on

For the record, I never complained about the cold. I have sweatshirts and a fireplace. I complained about not being able to watch TV. BTW we have since bought a generator, all but guaranteeing we will never again need to use one.
