Premier East Coast Downhill Series Offers $50,000 in Cash and Prizes
June 26, 2007, Vernon, New Jersey Diablo Freeride Park, conveniently located 47 miles northwest of New York City, is geared and ready to host ROUND 2 of the Diablo Domination Series this weekend. The Domination Series consists of a 5-race series with all five events taking place on the custom-built trails of Diablo Freeride Park.
In its third year of existence, the Diablo Domination Series has quickly risen to become one of the nations most progressive downhill series offering $50,000 in cash and prizes and staking claim to the east coasts largest cash purse payout. In addition to substantial per-race payouts, overall series champions receive hefty cash bonuses in the Open/Pro categories while Amateur champions will be rewarded with complete Iron Horse Sunday Elite downhill rigs.
This weekend, the event kicks off on Saturday at 9:00am with an all-out, full day practice session. On Sunday, racers will be competing on a unique course utilizing portions of existing trails with technically varied terrain such as Retreat, UTAH and Lower Asylum.
