I know there are a few Monkeys with Geos how did you go about sizing on them and how tall are you? I am looking between these 2 for the next rig and would have to wait a bit longer on The Privateer. I really don't need that travel but the $$$ difference is appealing and the GEO is correct so.....

I'm on a Longer G16 at 6'0".
Yeah, that's what I was looking at. I am 6' as well with no shoes. I think they were saying for me to get next size up but that a 510 reach. I think that maybe a bit much.....

I definitely would not want to size up. I rode a friend's that's a size bigger before I bought mine and it was a bit much.

I got a long g16 a couple weeks ago. It’s amazing. I have a disportionately long torso and tiny ass legs. In total I am 5’9” on the dot. I used to size up frames but have the seatpost try to give me the bad touch and hate all bikes. Now I am happy. Buy a geometron.

The 140mm option also caught my attention. Need to see the numbers, and hopefully they keep it progressive out back.

6.5LBS frame weight same as most other enduro frames..
Hmmm, on their website Privateer mentions 6.6 lbs/3 kg without a shock for the proto. In the endurp-mag review they write about 6.6 - 7.7 lbs/3 - 3.5 kg, which is quite a difference. To me it still seems pretty heavy. I guess frame weight with a Float X2 will be close or above 8.8 lbs/4 kg.
