Don't know where to start, so I guess the best thing to do is to laugh it off in this case.
To start off get to the parking lot of Round Valley, get the bike unloaded and as soon as I get the bike together and start to head off on my ride, I get stopped by a park ranger get ID' and they try to haul me off thinking I'm some crazy ass weirdo with a dark blue bike who is going around exposing myself to people, which I do not do. As soon as they get me in the handcuffs, the description of the person and the bike comes in, I'm not a 6'7 white guy and nowhere close to being 330 pounds with a dark blue mtb. The ranger looks me over, notices that I'm not 6'7, more like 6' and by body profile, I'm alot less than 330, and that my mtb is Orange.
So he lets me go and appologizes for the inconvienience. So at this point I'm a bit steamed. Go get on the dirt, and minutes later the bike starts to pedal like crap. Sure enough the bottom bracket(Shimano MTB external) has ceased to be. So turn back, load up car, head back to the bikeshop to scrummage up a new external bb. Wound up only finding a truvative drive side cup and a shimano mtb non drive cup. Put them together, it should hold up until the new bb arrives, so I basically have a shimative bb now.
Decide to go to the skate park instead, it's going well, until I hit a tabletop and have a pedal slip, and now my right calf is all cut up. But oh well, I'll live.
