I have a Manitou Swinger SPV 4-way on a Giant AC-1. I bought it used and it has always rebounded really slowly, no matter what the rebound is set to. Whenever i hit a section of bumps right next to eachother, the shock doesnt seem to suck them up. Is this how the Swinger is suppost to work or should i send the shock in to Manitou for a rebuild? Is there anything i can do to fix it on my own? Thanks and ride on.

How do you have it set up? Sounds like you have too much air pressure and the air volume cranked down too much. Try backing those off with the rebound just a couple of turns in and see if it helps.
i also think you have too much air pressure in the spv chamber.
