so I'm watching '10 Count' on FuelTV and the episode is "10 Canadian action sport peoples". So I'm thinking there has got to be a freerider/downhiller/someone who knows where Whistler is on this episode. Nope -- snowboarders (natch), BMXers (ok...), surfers (WTF?)... no one on a big bike. :mumble:
Next morning. I'm flipping through a car magazine and they're doing an article on the Long Beach Grand Prix ProAm race.
So, I'm thinking -- how about a DH/DS/MX ProAm? You pair a pro with a celebrity and the fastest combined time wins!!! I'm thinking David Hasselhoff with Cedric Gracia doing DH, maybe Pastrana (he is an amateur on a bike) with Lopes in DS ... Marla Streb and Britney Spears...
Oh, and no offense to any Canadian surfers. I grew up in SoCal and I honestly cannot say Canada was on my list (or any of my buds) places we wanted to surf. Hawaii, Australia, heck, even Mexico...but not Canada.
