I run the 29 lowers on 36s for 27 wheels on purpose. A little taller a2c and more mud clearance with a fender.

I know a lot of people who wouldn't listen and are now selling 29ers to go back to a smaller wheeled bike.
The issue isn't with the people, it's with the lizzurds. Seems like they are determined to kill smaller wheels and consolidate the MTB platform into one sole wheel size. Maybe it's the wrong one for some of us, but for a lot of rookies they make it easier to roll over stuff.
So yeah, kill all the Joeys.
