I got the Syn version in black and it's now out of stock in my size (44.5) but I think I can go up 0.5 size and still be fine as I have wide feet. However, there also is the suede and leather version in black which is said to be comfy also and they still have it in 44.5 so I'm wondering if I should get that instead.

I find the 2fo roost and canvas to be too thin and not as good for driving the bike.

That’s MY foot last, gosh darn you! I can’t use a modern 5.10 shoe at all, they are made for inbred north americans with thalidomide flippers.

Yeah I couldn't find out anything official either but on Empty Beer there are some threads saying it can be done and link to a part number on the Bike Yoke site.
Either way I wound up ordering the 185mm which should just fit with the post almost completely slammed based on my calculations. What I am unsure of is if the seat will clear the rear tire as I was too lazy to check.

People with 27.5” rear wheels obviously. You gotta go 28t or smaller with 29ers.
Shit that 30t ring on my 29 trail bike is gonna kill me, guess I better not up it to 32t like I was planning.
A Deore 10-45t cassette is 110 Aussie Dollars.
36t ring with a 10-45t is great, 10-42 would be better but people want dinner plate first gears because they walk up mountains and talk about who has the widest ratio spread.
EDIT- Good lord those Deore cranks are cheap!

hmm...been on either 32 or 34 up front forever. 10-51 xt cassettes for a long time. do it all bike. 27.5 tho. most people i know who ride mostly in the mountains (and not dh) on not e-bikes are on 30t...sometimes 28t.
What's the elevation where you are? Have 10 speed, 32t ring and 11-42 cassette on my mullet hardtail. Need to go 11-46 and I'm good.
About two feet, Australia taps out at about for feet above sea level.
Gone are the days where I could do the local XC loops with my 32-13 SS bike.
