I won't go as far to say anything about that. IME, you gotta try on shoes. I tried on 510s, shimanos, fox, etc. This is what fit.
So I've tried 3 pairs of these.

Size 46 feels the best, out of the box.

Size 45 fits, but I can feel the shoes squeezing my feet slightly.

I think I'm going to keep the 46, but just curious, did your shoes "loosen" up much?

These are a whole size bigger than the shoes I've been using for years.

I doubt it, they are a "hard boot" more like a mountaineering boot, the sole is CF and stiff as heck. I was able to use them like cramp-ons on some super steep icy hills during the iditarod. If you ever think you might want thicker liners though, they mountaineering-boot nature allows you to use a variety, the most popular being the intuition liners, and these take up more space and absolutely need a bigger size than what feels good otherwise. It's another bullet on the "get them bigger" side of things. IME, you do not even want a hint of squeezing and if you have to be looser in other areas to get there, so be it.

I was referring to the Shimano GE700 shoes :busted:

GT has a mess of discounted bikes. Who will be a vulture and swoop in and grab some bargains?

Let's jump on the Trunnion bandwagon and add a big triangle at the bottom, yay!

I don't think 50% off could get me on the GT Knolly.

EDIT- It doesn't look Knolly bad.

For $1,300 for the elite frame is crazy even if there is no real warrenty. On EBay I am seeing a used aluminum Intense M16 going for 1,200 without a shock. These sellers are out of their minds.

Incycle still blowing out parts from OEM Specialized stock.

XX1 Eagle chains for $18, I grabbed a couple. (Solid pin XX1 chains rated for mopeds are slightly cheaper)

They have level t brakes for $9.99

I could use a spare set of brakes.
Those are pretty pants, but that's cheaper than buying pads. They didn't stay long on my fat bike when I got it - but might be okay on flatter terrain. Pretty happy with the spare sets of Code RSC for $100 I got out of them.

I have level ultimate and have no complaints.

But I don't know how sram changes brakes at different price points.

The levers on those look the same as the Levels, and if they are, they are super fragile. The lever is held into by a floating roll pin thingy and plastic bushing. I had one that arrived broken on a brand new in box bike.

Tempting, but I really shouldn't.

anyone looking for a nice torque wrench, the syntace one (made by wera) with a set of bits is available for 99eur (with 19% tax) at their own shop:

That is a great price, I can't find a spec so it must be accurate for 100% of scale which is really impressive, that's normally a range that only digital ranges will do(from the ones I looked at).

I thought you'd use something a bit more like this though-

I like the torque screwdriver style ones for most bike stuff, they don't have the dead feeling of a 200mm+ ratchet type on low torque applications.
But mine only goes from 1-5Nm.
