I know, I have one on my cart!I know its $US but that Bomber Air for $150 is bonkers good. Those things punch waaaay above their price point IMO

I bought one, I think I actually posted the deal earlier in this thread. Crazy deal, there's a coupon code you can stack to get it even cheaper. Decent shock also, Fluid Focus is doing some re-working with them, I might send it over to them to get it re-tuned for my big ass.I know, I have one on my cart!
what's the code?I bought one, I think I actually posted the deal earlier in this thread. Crazy deal, there's a coupon code you can stack to get it even cheaper. Decent shock also, Fluid Focus is doing some re-working with them, I might send it over to them to get it re-tuned for my big ass.
Found it, I guess it's even cheaper now. I wonder if that code will still work.If you're looking for a 230x60mm air shock that's better than a basic inline shock, here's a smoking deal on the Marzocchi Bomber Air:

I'm sure it's so your seatpost moves out of your way on hard compressions.
Those were Seth's heels... But shhhh.... I sneaked them back while he was out ripping off poor punctured tyre commuters. A strange little bald man in a gimp suit answered his door. Took the shoes from me and proceeded to llck them clean before returning them to the dungeon.I don't ride with my heels like Gary so
I think @FlipSide has an ESD?I'm sure it's so your seatpost moves out of your way on hard compressions.
A friend has one and loves it, I quite like the offset stays look plus you can put a decent bike light there.
The geo is a bit weird for me, I don't ride with my heels like Gary so the STA is too steep and the stack is a bit low with a non stupid fork.
I have been searching for a Honzo ESD frame as I read some ramblings that they are a bit more compliant in the rear than my Torrent.
I do have an ESD and it is quite an amazing bike. I never tried a Torrent, so I can't really compare the compliance of both bikes.I think @FlipSide has an ESD?
I'm used to my Transition having a straight line front to back.
Cavitation is an action, not a condition. You can't have a shock that is "cavitated"....I'll sell you one for 200.
it's had ONE ride. So is pre-cavitated
"so you don't have to"![]()
I've been looking for the coil version for months now. It seems that I found the single item in "the industry" that isn't on sale? It's not super cheap, but we are one has two Fox X2 shocks for sale, for $563 CAD.

I can testify, as I just received my Slayer A30 from Steed Cycles yesterday. At 2350$cdn (50% off) and free shipping for the whole build, it was a gamble I was willing to take.i've seen half price deals locally (vancouver) on full build slayers as well.
our family bought 3 bikes on decent sales from Steed in 2024! wife and I both replaced our roadies with new graveleurs and we got a e-cargo bike too.I can testify, as I just received my Slayer A30 from Steed Cycles yesterday. i picked one up in december when they were $300. it's got the VCC damper, which is a damper in name only.oh shizz, might pick up a new fork for the megatrail:

is it worth it at that price? or does the damper spoil things?i picked one up in december when they were $300. it's got the VCC damper, which is a damper in name only.
most people found it underdamped and had to resort to running higher air pressure as a result, which created some other issues.is it worth it at that price? or does the damper spoil things?
tyty, looks like it would be the fork, and then buying the MRP lift.most people found it underdamped and had to resort to running higher air pressure as a result, which created some other issues.
some details here:
Fox Fork Dampers in Hindsight
Every year or two Fox makes some changes to the tune and sometimes name of their premier fork damper. We refer to some years as needing to be run wide open or other years not having enough damping. So with the benefit of hindsight how are my forks viewed? Which are considered over or under...ridemonkey.bikemag.com
i picked up the '24 grip2 vvc upgrade kit i mentioned in that thread, although i'm unsure if i'll install it (not a very straightforward installation) or just drop an MRP lift damper in it.
yes, legit. @jackalope is more likely to steal your kidneys...but you already knew that.is merlin cyc les legit?
will my kidneys or credit card get stolen?
but in the initial intended way, with auctions? that seems to have lost its attractivness, in germany ebay introduced at some point another service, ebay kleinanzeigen (classifieds), that got spun out and these days if you want to sell something used, you sell it there. ebay is just another plattform for buying new stuff, like aliexpress et alYeah, it's often cheaper than shopping with the seller's own website.
I'm sure I could get one A-Bomb proof flat earth pedals from Wish but that's not for me.
Nah I don't bother much with auctions, unless it's some old tool/s or something hipstery.but in the initial intended way, with auctions? that seems to have lost its attractivness, in germany ebay introduced at some point another service, ebay kleinanzeigen (classifieds), that got spun out and these days if you want to sell something used, you sell it there. ebay is just another plattform for buying new stuff, like aliexpress et al
