Hi everyone, my first post. I just got a GF tass, and it came with a manitou axel platinum air 100 front shock. the guy at the shop set psi to 120, and said he didnt have a manual but thought that was right. I havent even been able to find this shock listed on the manitou site, they have the axel platinum, but not axel plat air. Does anyone know where to find info on this shock, or if 120 psi is the right amount of air, i weigh 160 and ride fairly aggressive for a newb, i have bmx and motor bike background. Thanks!!

Pressure is usually adjusted to the proper sag when you are sitting on your bike. Looks like they recommend 15 to 20 mm of sag for the Axel 100. Page 34 of the 2006 manual
For your weight I think 120 to 140 would be fine for positive and 100 to 120 for the negative side.
