Hey guys,

I've been wanting to try out a Psylo fork with the 20mm tullio, are these things that much of a noodle? I'm using a fox talas right now and i'm loving it, super stiff....how does the tullio compare though? I'd figure since it has a 20mm that it'd be plenty stiffer but from what I've read so far they are pretty bad. Any thoughts on this? It'll be used for urban/ds/trail rides.

ive ridden a few tullios and i like them a lot, the axle system is IMO the best in the biz, same for the uturn they come with, ive never been on a fox though but i cant think otherwise than that they should be pretty much on par in terms of stiffness, but what are you trying to gain by dropping the talas, see im interested in that fork maybe for next season so im sort of researching a bit...

I rode a XC Tullio for a few months and was pretty impressed with the steering and stiffness of the fork. I can't say it's better than than a standard QR on a Fox fork. But the internals of the Psylo forks are terrible, just terrible. The Psylo XC I rode did nothing to control travel, it just allowed it to happen. There wasn't the quality feel of say a Z-1 or Sherman.

I would recommend a Z.1 FR, Fox Vanilla, or Sherman. Rock Shox just doesn't have the quality it takes to compete in the 5" single crown market today.

hmm, my experience with the psylo xc internals is that theyre sometimes wrongly assembled from factory or things like that, its an incredibly simple damper, not much that can go wrong with it if it starts out built ok, with just some tuning those forks can be great performers, specially considering how cheap the xc psylo is and that it comes with uturn who is just about a fork multiplier.
