Hey Tech Guru's,

My laptop is constantly overheating, it's slow, and I can't watch hd movies on it. So I decided to upgrade.

I recently bought an Iphone and I love it, so I though about buying a Mac Mini... That's a no go, it specs out like ****.

But I am not going to give up on owing an mac, or at least a mac clone.

I spent some time on the os86x project website and priced out a computer using their comparability guide. Most of the builds I would consider end up higher than what I would spend on a Psystar.

Psystar's Open(3) (600$) and Open(Q) ($700) don't seem to be too bad of a deal.

I know they are going bankrupt, and Apple is constantly suing, but could it be worth it?

I haven't heard too much about the build quality, have any of you?

FYI, iPhone != OSX.

I love my iPhone too. I don't love OSX. Or, really, any MacOS I've ever used.

Sound advice. I think I'm just going to build another PC. Probably Mac compatible.
