Puma is selling an "urban commuter bike". While it has a few cool features it is a basically a big old steamer out in the middle of a dirt field.
We were asked to build a few for the Puma store down the street. Rear wheel setup is funky. Parts are POS's. The gearing is insane for any place with hills (something like a 44/15) and the geometry is wacked.
And it sells for approx $8-900. Supposedly they sold the snot out of them, so they must be marketing it well. In all honesty the frame construction is quite good. However it is clear that whoever designed it doesn't really ride a bike.
