$20 for a fire extinguisher that you have to empty and destroy
$10-15 on hosing
$5-10 on hose barbs
this all assumes you have a drill, drill bits, teflon tape, and more hosing, and a tire chuck lying around.
Or you can spend $75 on one that is significantly less likely to explode. I'm all for DIY smart solutions, but this seems more like a cure for boredom than an actual solution.
I thought about the expense of the pump I just bought, but I figure it's a $35 pump with an extra reservoir on it. So, I paid $35 for what others have priced at $75. I guess that's a comfort, and I don't have to worry about things exploding.
